Am I Too Old To Begin Working Out?

It is a great honor for me to introduce you to a truly amazing man and long term personal training client of mine, Mr. William Willson.

Bill is 86 years young and never participated in an exercise program until he was 80 years old when he began training with me.

It is incredibly inspirational to watch the exercises that Bill is able to perform and to see the quality of life that is possible even well into your 80's.

Press Play to watch clips from one of Bill's recent workouts. I'm sure you will be impressed!

Part 1

Part 2

It would mean a lot to myself and to Bill if you would click on the share button of each video and send it to any of your friends or family that could use some inspiration to get on a fitness program no matter what age they are.

Please share your comments at the bottom of the post as well.

Bill is a great role model for anyone that thinks they have to limit themselves to 'easy' exercises as they age. Bill continues to push himself harder on a regular basis and makes improvements in all areas very frequently.

Observing Bill's continued improvement and seeing him in better shape now at 86 years young then when he was at 80, I can't wait to see what shape he is in at 90 years young and the challenging exercises that he will perform then.

If the hype of the SuperBowl can get millions of people that don't even watch football to tune into the game...

...then I believe we can generate enough hype with this video to get people who have been limiting themselves because of their age to get up and tap into the true potential they are capable of.

At the very least Bill deserves some serious recognition for his accomplishments and for persevering at a time when others would have been more than happy to just coast through their remaining years on this planet.

If Bill listened to the advice of people that said, "Take it easy, you might hurt yourself," then he wouldn't be climbing up pyramids, traveling the world, volunteering in the community and really making a difference in the world.

Please help Bill make a difference in the world and click the share button on his videos to spread the hype that you are never too old to begin a workout program and get in great shape.

On each video I give a brief introduction before we go into the actual workout clips. I'm so incredibly proud of Bill. He inspires me and I want to help him inspire the world.

If you are over the age of 40 and have been been experiencing some self-limiting thoughts and think that it's impossible to get in great shape as you age, I would love to take this moment to introduce you to a phenomenal book full of incredible role models from the age of 40 to 75 plus.

Role Models for Fitness Excellence at Any Age: Fit Over 40

Having role models and mentors are 2 of the greatest things that you can do when you are striving towards fitness success. At times when you are feeling like the battle is too difficult and that it's impossible to reach your goals, the best thing that you could do is take a look at someone that is just like you and experiencing the same obstacles yet still achieving incredible results.

If they can do it...so can you!

If age has been one of your excuses and you need a bunch of role models to motivate you, Fit Over 40 is the solution.

I hope that you enjoyed watching some of Bill's workout and that it inspired you in one way or another.

If you would like to congratulate Bill on a job well done please click on the comment link below and post your message to Bill. Getting through a workout like this at the age of 86 certainly deserves a round of applause...

...I know that he would really appreciate that and would be very grateful for your kind thoughts.

Wow! It is fantastic to see someone of my grandad's generation exercising now. Living proof that it is mind over matter and setting out your priorities. It is far too easy to find excuses for not doing something that you know you should.

Would like to hear more of what motivates Bill and how he has kept his clearly positive mindset for over 6 years now.

Congratulations and keep it up the good work!

Love your info, but just can't send the link to many of my gal friends. The name "The Fit Bastard" is just too offensive. Sorry, you are a great guy, with good info, but not a "family friendly" name. I know, it's a "guy thing", right? LOL!! Any chances that you are considering a name change in your future?? Best of success to you, Loretta
