Diet and Muscle Building Supplements

Ask The Fit Bastard - Diet and Muscle Building Supplements

Summary

You should never rely on supplements to get the results you desire.

Use supplements to:

* help you break through a plateau
* to help you make sure that you eat 5 to 6 meals per day
* if you are deficient in any micronutrients
* if you are already following a great nutrition plan and you want to push it to the next level
* for optimal health

Where I get many of the supplements that I use:
Life Extension

I am not an expert on supplements. If you are currently using supplements or plan on using any in the near future you should consult with an expert on supplements.

There are way too many knock offs on all supplements including protein powders and creatine. I know way too many people that have been wasting well over $100 a month and some as much as $400 per month on supplements that don't even work.

I recommend that you get your supplement information from the worlds leading expert, Will Brink.

For information on supplements for Fat Loss check out Will's book
Fat Loss Revealed

It's over 300 pages of pure gold. As a bonus you also get access to the Fat Loss Revealed forum whick is absolutely priceless.

For information on supplements for Muscle Building check out Will's book
Body Building Revealed

This book is over 600 pages including product reviews, nutrition plan, workouts, and so much more. As a bonus you also get access to the Body Building Revealed forum, which again is absolutely priceless.

I am a member of both of the sites above and would never even think of purchasing a supplement without first consulting Will and his staff. I for one do not feel like flushing my money down the toilet.

If I'm going to take supplements, I want to know the best out there, the ones that truly work, and the ones that give me the most bang for my buck. I recommend that you do the same.

Ask The Fit Bastard - Healthy Fats/ Fasted Cardio

Jan 25, 2007

I had a very hard time falling asleep last night because I couldn't contain my excitement with the flood of emails and questions for me to answer on video for you.

Today I have many more friends on my space. This is great for me because I get to learn more about you and how best I can serve you.

Here's my myspace link www.myspace.com/scotttousignant

I finally fell asleep around 2am and woke up at 4:45am to do my morning brisk walk on an empty stomach. Today is one of the days of the week where I go to my clients home and train to beat them up...I mean work them out, and my first appointment starts at 7am so I have to get up early to do my cardio on these days.

Less than 3 hours sleep is not typical for me, but I don't require much sleep. 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours is perfect for me. Ever since my good friend Kacper Postawski gave me his book Powerful Sleep I went from needing 8-10 hours to averaging 6 hours of sleep and I have way more energy.

The toughest thing is just getting out of bed for most people. I've got my goals next to my alarm clock and some pictures of abs and other body parts, along with a motivational quote. This definitely inspires me to get out of bed.

This morning it was pure adrenaline. I couldn't wait to start my day and answer your questions. We really are going to have a lot of fun. Please continue to submit your questions to askthefitbastard@gmail.com

Here's my video of my heading out for my morning cardio:

In this video I answer a question from Jack who is a 48 year old male that is pretty happy with his body except for his gut. He would like to lose those last 10-15 pounds.

I provide him with some answers about how he can modify his eating as well as some cardio and workout tips.

I hope that you've enjoyed these videos and tips and I look forward to answering your health questions as well as any questions that you may have about starting your own online business.

Just send them to askthefitbastard@gmail.com

Today one of my clients whom happens to be 87 years old agreed to alowing me to record his workout on Tuesday next week and show you what he's capable of. I guarantee you will be very impressed.
